• Seek assistance from life savers or phone 000 requesting an ambulance
• Administer CPR if required
• Don't allow victim to rub the sting
• Rinse with undiluted vinegar (except bluebottle stings)
• Use an ice pack on sting site
• Seek medical treatment ASAP if required
